Introduction The herpes zoster oticus results from the reactivation of varicella virus, a DNA virus Herpesviridae family with strictly human-to-human contamination, affecting geniculate ganglion facial nerve. manifestations shingles and post-herpes signs are associated psychiatric such as anxiety, insomnia depressive disorder. Shingles disorder share common features, decreased cellular immunity high prevalence in elderly Objectives Is there correlation between intensity depression comorbidity depression? an explanation for this association? Can adequate therapy infection prevent occurrence disorder? Does existence affect response to antidepressants? Methods case report litterature Results Conclusions We will try answer these questions work while illustrating by patient having been touched being based on what was published literature.
